Whether your first or tenth wedding anniversary, it should celebrate and what better way to plan a celebration with a checklist birthday party?

Birthday parties most successful start with an idea - how the event will start, continue and end. Having a checklist for some finite and concrete plan for helping you keep your right to an anniversary party on track.

1. The best thing to do when creating any party is to develop a theme. By creating a themeyou can set the mood, location, food and clothing ideas and invitations. Although life changes you, it is comforting to know that some things remain the same.

During a time when my whole world changed, Tepee is a constant for me. In 7th grade my body changed, my attitudewas developing and my friends are growing. In 8th grade, my parents were divorced and my fears of high school loomed in the back of my mind.

While the world is changing at a rapid pace, Tepee stopped offering me a place to feel accepted, excited, and unique. My friends and I were the daughters of the Catholic school - the small circle of about 8 - and Tepee was one of the few places that we could expand our circle of friends. We laughed with them, fought withthe other, and learned to live with and one without the other before we went to high school.

Tepee is an outlet for me to form a sense of identity - a renewed confidence. I am proud of my collar turned up, curled my claw bangs, and tight-rolled my jeans. I felt free when I entered the door and felt safe at the same time.

Pre-teens need a place that provides security, social opportunities, and fun brainless. Parents need these places just as much - a haven of peace where childrenare supervised.
